Dorcas Annette Walker, a second generation hemophilia carrier is an inspirational, medical, romance, freelance writer, photographer and columnist from Jamestown, TN. She is best known for her memoir, To Say Good-bye. Her articles have appeared in medical magazines and other books. Dorcas has authored five books and coauthored two. She was an editorial consultant to Hemalog for several years. Dorcas is a member of the Romance Writers of America, as well as their affiliates Faith, Hope & Love, an inspirational writer's group, and Heartbeat, a medical writers group.

The weather has been very hot and dry this summer here on the Cumberland Plateau in Tennessee as we enter the fall season. I have exciting news to share.
